The inspiration
My penguins come from a personal memory. My first love was nicknamed ‘Penguin’ because he walked without swinging his arms. With him, I felt unconditionally accepted and cherished.
Life brought its share of difficulties afterwards. But having once been valued so wholeheartedly helped me hold on to my tenderness, rather than becoming angry and cynical.
Each little penguin carries a little of that kindness forward.
Flower Bag Penguin’s story
This grey penguin has a tiny hat and a cheerful bag for the journey. The destination is still undecided. With orange feet and such good accessories, the getting-there part already looks lovely.
