Sunny
Forecast: mostly cheerful.
The sunshine bear
The inspiration
At Chinese New Year, families put the character 福 (fú) on their doors to welcome good fortune and blessings into their homes. I brought that tradition into this little handmade companion: a wish for happiness, prosperity and a lovely year ahead.
Sunny’s story
Sunny has planned a picnic. The forecast says rain, but Sunny points out that the sitting room has excellent weather.
A blanket is spread, the biscuits are counted and everyone is invited. He is particularly pleased about the lack of ants.
