The inspiration
My penguins come from a personal memory. My first love was nicknamed ‘Penguin’ because he walked without swinging his arms. With him, I felt unconditionally accepted and cherished.
Life brought its share of difficulties afterwards. But having once been valued so wholeheartedly helped me hold on to my tenderness, rather than becoming angry and cynical.
Each little penguin carries a little of that kindness forward.
Dinosaur-Hat Penguin’s story
Round tummy, rosy little face and yellow feet ready for a very short expedition. This penguin has packed plenty of enthusiasm. The first stop is somewhere warm, preferably with a good view of the snow.
