The strawberry bunny
The inspiration
The idea for my strawberry bunnies came from sharing a big box of strawberries and cream from M&S with a close friend one summer. A sweet afternoon, turned into a tiny friend to keep.
My bunny creations are inspired by @bunnymad, an account I've followed for a long time, bringing little moments of rabbit life into yarn.
Poppy’s story
Poppy found a strawberry-sized hiding place and moved straight in. From the back, the disguise is rather convincing.
From the front, two ears give the game away. Poppy maintains that ordinary strawberries have simply not tried hard enough.
