The inspiration
At Chinese New Year, families put the character 福 (fú) on their doors to welcome good fortune and blessings into their homes. I brought that tradition into this little handmade companion: a wish for happiness, prosperity and a lovely year ahead.
My bunny creations are inspired by @bunnymad, an account I've followed for a long time, bringing little moments of rabbit life into yarn.
Bao’s story
Bao never arrives quietly. There is a red outfit, a little gold treasure and an announcement that good things are on their way.
He has prepared a very grand entrance. The exit can wait until someone has brought out the snacks.
